Relevant Experience

Post Baccalaureate Researcher
Los Alamos National Laboratory

June 2023 - Present

Worked on various aspects of the multi-physics software FleCSI, as well as developed a library for simulation outputs using parallel file I/O for HPC.

Graphics Engine Programming
Personal

~2011 - Present

Pursuing graphics and graphics engine programming on a personal level for many years. Specifically implementing and developing high performance systems in C++ in an easy-to-use and coherent form intended for users.

Student
Belmont University

Aug. 2019 - Dec. 2023

Achieved 3.75 GPA and have participated in over 2 years of research. I graduated in December, 2023.

Tutoring
Belmont University

Jan. 2020 - May 2023

Tutored many different students on math and physics topics. This includes personal tutoring as well as through the learning center present at my university.

Notable Projects

Current

A utility being developed at Los Alamost National Lab for reading and writing NetCDF files in parallel, built off the PNetCDF library. Used for writing ExodusII files in parallel, since this functionality is not contained within the file types respective IO library.

April 2023

A project centered around a robust graphics API and a clean and minimal overhead engine API all written in C++. It is currently in its early stages, but it already supports many different features.

Fall 2020

Inspired by the framework API of SFML, this project wishes to bring clean and minimal overhead API functionality to the rendering of 3D scenes. This includes access functionality to generating vertex arrays using multiple threads. It does not require any dependencies (all window handling is done inside of SGAL).
